.\n\nFrom there we stroll into the heart of North Beach\, one of San Franc
isco's most historic\, picturesque and fascinating neighborhoods. We can e
ven stop for refreshments in one of the great cafes or bars there\, if nee
ded. From there it's just a short walk to the final icon. SF's Chinatown i
s the oldest in the U.S.\, and its design has been copied by other Chinato
wns all over the world. During the nineteenth century if was full of opium
dens and parlor houses\, but now it's the perfect place to end your Icons
of SF tour\, because it has some of the best restaurants in the city. You
r guide can make recommendations for dinner or drinks after the tour.\n\nO
