SUMMARY:Test SF in a Day Tour
DESCRIPTION:L.A. is so big – how are you going to see the city in one day
? Easy! Join our LA in a Day tour. There’s no breezing through on buses
with a pre-recorded audio commentary playing (which is always out of sync)
  – we’ll show you the hidden nooks and crannies of the city that other
tour companies don’t (because it doesn’t fit their limited itinerary)
and give you a feel for the real Los Angeles. Uniquely our LA in a Day to
ur is probably the only tour in Los Angeles – and certainly the only met
ro and walking tour – on which you’ll see seven different venues of th
e Academy Awards Ceremony.\nWe’ll start your LA in a Day tour in Hollywo
od (where else) and show you how and why L.A. became the center of the Ame
rican entertainment industry. There’s a huge amount of fascinating movie
history surrounding the famous Walk of Fame\, including the oldest house
in Hollywood (where Charlie Chaplin’s kids went to school)\, the Capitol
Records Building\, the Egyptian Theater\, the Dolby Theater (home of the
Oscars) and the TCL Chinese Theater\, and you’ll learn about it all.\nN
ext we take the subway to downtown – it’s actually the fastest way to
get there. DTLA is the most dynamic part of the city right now and it’s
also the biggest historic downtown of any major city in the U.S. The city
was founded here in 1781 and it has a huge number of iconic buildings\, su
ch as City Hall and the Walt Disney Concert Hall. By this time you’ll be
hungry\, so we pause your LA in a Day tour for lunch at one of the top fo
od destinations in America\, Grand Central Market.\nAfter lunch the tour
continues in DTLA\, then we head to Santa Monica on the Expo Line. It’s
a lovely way to travel through the West Side. Once in SaMo we’ll give yo
u a tour of the area (including the famous Santa Monica Pier)\, before fin
ishing your LA in a Day tour at 3rd Street Promenade\, a perfect place to
watch the sun set while enjoying cocktails and dinner. By now you’ll
have had a real experience of Los Angeles and made some great memories to
take home with you.\nOur tours can sell out. If you cannot make a booking
email us at info@thereallosangelestours.com\, telling us when you want to
do the tour and how many guests are in your party\, and if we can squeeze
you in we’ll let you know.

as we visit enchanted gardens\, secret stairs\, glorious rooftop vistas a
nd many of the city’s coolest neighborhoods\, to create an unforgettable
experience. You’ll avoid crowds at the usual tourist hot-spots\, while
experiencing the true culture of S.F. and learning all its storied history
. If you really want to get to know San Francisco\, this is the best tour
you can find.\n\nWe’ll start your tour in downtown San Francisco\, near
Embarcadero\, when we take the cable-car up to Nob Hill. This is where the
railroad millionaires of the nineteenth century built their mansions (whi
ch gave the area its name)\, because of its central location and fantastic
views. From there we take a cable-car and then a train to City Hall. Afte
r going inside this magnificent\, historic\, building\, we walk over to ne
arby Hayes Valley\, which is a great place to get a morning coffee\, if yo
u need it.\n\nAfter that we head to the Castro\, a hugely important symbol
in the LGBTQ+ movement and a fascinating and fun neighborhood\, which you
'll learn all about. We finish the morning part of the tour in Haight-Ashb
ury\, which is forever associated with the Hippie and anti-Vietnam War mov
ements. By this time you'll be hungry\, so it's the perfect time to pause
your SF in a Day tour for lunch.\n\nAfter lunch we take you to see an icon
of San Francisco - the Painted Ladies - at Alamo Square. From there we he
ad over to Macondray Lane\, made famous by Armistead Maupin's Tales of the
City\, and then walk down another S.F. icon - Lombard Street. Experiencin
g it this way means you'll avoid the usual gridlock on the surrounding str
eets AND get the best photos. We finish the tour with a stroll through Nor
th Beach to Chinatown\, where your SF in a Day tour ends\, in the perfect
place to get dinner. By then you’ll have had an authentic experience of
San Francisco and made some beautiful memories to take home with you.\n\nO
ur tours can sell out. If you can't make a booking email info@realsanfran
ciscotours.com\, telling us when you want to go and how many guests are in
your party\, and if we can squeeze you in we’ll let you know.\n\nLOGIST
