Embark on a captivating journey, seeing Fisherman’s Wharf’s iconic sights and uncovering the many hidden gems dotted along the scenic waterfront and in the neighborhood behind it.
Over the course of this special tour you’ll hear fascinating tales drawn from the city’s maritime history, while gazing at historic ships. You’ll learn all about San Francisco’s Gold Rush Era, and discover how our cable cars were invented.
Savor delicious food samples, including delectable treats from the historic Ghirardelli Chocolate Factory and the famous Boudin’s Sourdough Bakery, while strolling along part of the historic Barbary Coast Trail and visiting the lively colony of sea lions that reign over Pier 39.
We’ll also visit one museum on the tour, the Musée Mécanique, and we pass the beautiful Streamline Moderne Maritime Museum. Your Fishermans’s Wharf Chocolate & Gold Tour ends at Boudin’s, the perfect spot to enjoy a little San Francisco history, by having a tasty snack.

Step into San Francisco’s sweet past at this charming historic landmark. Once home to the iconic Ghirardelli Chocolate Factory, it now boasts boutique shops, restaurants and waterfront views. Enjoy some tasty chocolate treats (included).
⛵ MARITIME MUSEUM AND HYDE STREET PIER
Enjoy sweeping views of the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz, while watching some hardy souls swim in Aquatic Cove. A local favorite for history buffs and perfect for photo opportunities.
🥖 BOUDIN’S SOURDOUGH BAKERY
Watch master bakers craft San Francisco’s famous sourdough using a centuries-old starter. Sample fresh-baked goods and savor a true taste of the city’s famous culinary legacy.
🎮 MUSÉE MÉCANIQUE
